Addressing the math and literacy crisis...

"Sixty-six percent of students in 8th grade read below grade level." - Nation's Report Card 2019

Only 35% of 4th graders are proficient in math. By 8th grade, just 28% showed proficiency

The average math score for 13-year-olds fell nine points from the 2019-2020 school year to the 2022-23 year (NAEP) showed.
